A bureaucrat in a totalitarian society whose populace are kept under constant surveillance begins to question the regime he works for, and begins a secret, illegal relationship with a fellow subversive. However, their small rebellion is doomed to end in tragedy. Futuristic drama based on George Orwell's novel, starring John Hurt Richard Burton and Suzanna Hamilton
