Disturbing thriller based on the grisly real-life case of murderous landlord John Christie, whose crimes in the 1940s led to a notorious miscarriage of justice. The wartime special constable was eventually found guilty of slaying six women, having lured them to his home with the promise of his ability to perform 'minor operations'.
