      Roger Moore returns as intrepid secret agent James Bond, whose investigations into the mysterious disappearance of a space shuttle uncover a plot to take over the world - and again bring him into conflict with steel-toothed henchman Jaws. Daft action adventure which sees the venerable spy saga chasing the Star Wars dollar by introducing a dose of sci-fi. But the end result takes suspension of disbelief a step too far, and then abandons any semblance of plot altogether. Casino Royale it isn't. Michael Lonsdale makes an effectively suave villain, however. Also starring Richard Kiel and Lois Chiles

The third instalment of the superhero saga, starring Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Famke Janssen and Halle Berry, with Kelsey Grammer joining the team as new recruit Beast.

      A police hostage negotiator is called in when a robbery turns into a siege. The chairman of the bank involved is worried the mastermind behind the heist is set to disclose secrets he needs to stay hidden, so he enlists the help of a political fixer. However, the elaborate nature of the thief's plans looks set to keep him one step ahead of the law, and causes problems for the detective assigned to rectify the situation.
