Set during the final hours of the last millennium, this average apocalyptic drama suffers from a lack of pace, although it does pick up toward the end. Gabriel Byrne features as the supreme villain, alongside Robin Tunney, Rod Steiger, Kevin Pollak, CCH Pounder and Miriam Margolyes, while action movie veteran Peter Hyams directs.
