Rollercoaster tongue-in-cheek fantasy, which may be a bit daft, but is still harmless fun. Co-starring Austin O'Brien, Charles Dance, F Murray Abraham and Anthony Quinn.

      As reality TV becomes increasingly bizarre, this futuristic action adventure doesn't seem as far-fetched as it may have done at the time of release. Lawman Arnold Schwarzenegger is framed for the murder of starving civilians - and ends up forced to take part in a brutal TV game show in which he's hunted through Los Angeles by trained killers. With Yaphet Kotto, Maria Conchita Alonso and Richard Dawson, who steals the show as the brash TV host. Directed by Paul Michael Glaser, the actor best known as one half of the original Starsky and Hutch, and based on a novel by Stephen King, the film helped the future Governor of California retain his status as the ultimate Eighties action hero
