      The Greatest Story Ever Told

George Stevens' powerful, if rather lengthy, biblical drama charting the life of Jesus, from birth under the star of Bethlehem to betrayal at the hands of disciple Judas. The star-studded cast includes Max von Sydow, Charlton Heston, Angela Lansbury, Sidney Poitier, David McCallum, Claude Rains, Dorothy Maguire and Telly Savalas as Pontius Pilate, with numerous cameos by big names including a hilariously miscast John Wayne in the unlikely role of a Roman centurion, as well as Pat Boone, Richard Conte and Ed Wynn. The sheer volume of famous faces on offer does distract from some fine performances, but it's still a veritable feast

      Follow That Dream

Happy-go-lucky Elvis Presley musical comedy, which sees the unsurpassable king of rock 'n' roll and his wandering family deciding to set up home on a sun-drenched Florida beach : despite tough opposition from the stoical locals, who are less than impressed with their dabbling in illicit behaviour, not to mention the King's hip-swivelling antics and tendancy to break into song at the least provocation. Co-starring Arthur O'Connell, Anne Helm, Joanna Moore, Jack Krushen, Simon Oakland and Roland Winter, with memorable songs including Home is Where the Heart Is, On Top of Old Smokey and the title tune

      Fiddler on the Roof

A poor Jewish milkman tries to find good husbands for his daughters while coming to terms with the pressures of life in Tsarist Russia, but his quest is hampered by the girls' obstinate insistence on making their own choices. Topol reprises the role he made famous on Broadway in Norman Jewison's fabulous, multi-Oscar-winning adaptation of the classic musical, which boasts a series of tremendously stirring set pieces based on popular songs including If I Were a Rich Man, Matchmaker Matchmaker, Tradition, and To Life. Norma Crane, Paul Michael Glaser, Leonard Frey, Molly Picon, Paul Mann, Rosalind Harris and Michele Marsh co-star.

Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde

Reese Witherspoon reprises her hugely popular role as the dizzy blonde. Now a qualified lawyer, the heroine heads for Washington, determined to put an end to the testing of cosmetics on animals - and soon proves her mettle. Misfiring comedy sequel, enlivened only by a winning lead performance from its perpetually cheery star. Sally Field, Bob Newhart and Bruce McGill also star.

      Finding Neverland

Magical drama from Monster's Ball director Marc Forster, based on the life of Peter Pan author JM Barrie. As a young-at-heart playwright, Barrie can't get to grips with life in the critical spotlight. However, an encounter with four fatherless boys and their free-spirited widowed mother changes his life completely, as he finds new perspective - and inspiration for his greatest work. Johnny Depp is perfectly cast as the eccentric Scottish writer, with beautifully realised fantasy scenes bringing his remarkable imagination to life. Kate Winslet gives a touching performance as the young woman who played a part in reinvigorating his career. Dustin Hoffman, Julie Christie, Freddie Highmore and Kelly Macdonald also star

Award-winning, bittersweet World War Two drama, chronicling the emotional tale of an Italian Jew seeking fortune and romance in Tuscany in 1939. Five years later, he discovers he'll need every drop of energy and courage to instil a sense of hope in his son when they are imprisoned by the Nazis in a concentration camp. The multi-talented Roberto Benigni wrote the screenplay, and also directs and stars, winning himself an Oscar for his performance, while Nicoletta Braschi, Giustino Durano and Giorgio Cantarini are among the supporting cast
