      Bill Condon's musical drama is loosely based on the rise to fame of Diana Ross and the Supremes. Set in the Sixties, it tells the story of a singing trio whose dreams come true when they are chosen to perform backing vocals for a popular performer - eventually launching a successful career in their own right. However, when the most attractive of the three girls is picked as the 'face' of the group, edging out the other two, personal rivalry begins to jeopardise their friendship. Jamie Foxx, Beyoncé Knowles, Eddie Murphy and an Oscar-winning Jennifer Hudson star.

      Three bumbling crooks escape from prison during the 1930s, and strive to get their hands on stashed-away loot before a devastating flood ruins their spoils, but encounter all manner of scrapes and strange characters along the way. Another fabulous comedy from brothers Joel and Ethan Coen, this adventure is loosely based on Homer's Odyssey and boasts an excellent cast, including George Clooney, John Turturro, Tim Blake Nelson, John Goodman, Holly Hunter and Michael Badalucco. The soundtrack, which includes fictional group the Soggy Bottom Boys performing Man of Constant Sorrow, went on to scoop a clutch of Grammys

      Martin Scorsese's Oscar-winning gangster thriller stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon as Boston cops each involved in a deadly game of deception. Billy Costigan (DiCaprio) has been assigned to go undercover in the inner circle of feared crime boss Jack Nicholson, while Colin Sullivan (Damon) is on the payroll of the same mobster as his mole in the police department. When both sides of the law realise they have a spy in their midst, it falls to each detective to expose the other. Also starring Martin Sheen, Alec Baldwin, Mark Wahlberg, Vera Farmiga and Ray Winstone.
