      Vanity Fair

      An orphaned lass from humble beginnings vows to leave her roots behind and become a success - and soon manages to claw her way up London's social ladder. Marriage to a wealthy husband is a step in the right direction, but she is unprepared for his weakness for drink and gambling. Period comedy drama, that may struggle to cope with the novel's sprawling plot, but does benefit from a quality cast and impressive production design. Reese Witherspoon, maintaining an impeccable English accent, is on fine form as the scheming heroine. Also starring Romola Garai, James Purefoy, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Rhys Ifans and Bob Hoskins

      Dido Elizabeth Belle, an illegitimate mixed race daughter of a Royal Navy Admiral who is brought to England and raised by her great-uncle as an aristocrat. Although Dido is raised the same as her cousin, she still feels like an outsider. Drama starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Matthew Goode.

Startled by the possibility, she sets out to San Francisco to find the charmer who left her relatives reeling. Rob Reiner's comedy, starring Jennifer Aniston. With Kevin Costner in the role originally played by Dustin Hoffman, and Shirley MacLaine as the former Mrs Robinson

      The final installment of The Hangover trilogy, which sees the gang get in to more trouble than ever before. After Alan's father dies, Alan stops taking his ADHD medication and soon becomes uncontrollable. A very concerned Doug then calls on to the rest of the wolf pack to help get Alan to rehab, but not before Doug is kidnapped and the drama ensues. Comedy starring Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha and Ken Jeong
