However, she is reluctant to testify because she is an illegal immigrant who was the victim of war crimes in the Democratic Republic of Congo

Cara's sister Janice points the finger of suspicion at three male nurses from an agency who she had fired after some cheques went missing.       Benson and Stabler are called to the scene when a young man is discovered bludgeoned to death in a storage room at a hotel and a wallet found nearby identifies him as 16-year-old Andrew Hingham. But the teenager contacts his mother while the detectives are questioning her and after rewatching surveillance footage, the pair quickly realise that the real Andrew was with the murder victim in a romantic capacity. They propose that he murdered his boyfriend in a jealous rage - a possibility that becomes more likely with the news that Andrew spent time in a psychiatric ward for schizophrenia
