Admittedly I haven't followed the brief exactly, but here are a list of films that I believe do not deserve their Oscars, not ones that necessarily suck

Don't get me wrong, I like Chicago but it is by no means special and under close inspection, it actually sucks. Catchy songs should not justify rubbish plot development.

The very fact that this wretched monstrosity was even nominated is outstanding. Never has there been a greater case of style over substance. The plot is stupid with characters often acting illogically, inconsistently or just plain otherworldly.
