Underrated outside of the Westerns Movie world, made great movie after great movie with Randolph Scott, most famously as well as other's. Truly transcending the genre.

Casablanca, The maltese falcon, The Unforgiven...As ugly as he was a good director! In other words, he was great! And he was walter Huston's son, so I like him for that.

One of the Hollywood 10, eventually a VERY friendly witness to save himself, giving many names...great at directing, however.

Christmas Holliday is one of my favorite Noir's! Deanna Durbin as a femme fatale, Fantastic and gene kelly as a killer. Kelly was much better as a dramatic actor then in musicals. He also Directed The Killer's Burt Lancaster phenominal Film Debut.
