Mason was too intelligent, too complex, too talented and too independent to become a "star" in Hollywood. Instead, he became one of the finest actors to ever grace the silver screen. His best pictures were made in UK, not in Hollywood, which he loathed. Report abuse

Who could ever forget Mason's characters - Johnny McQueen, Nicholas Cunningham, Lord Rohan, Lord Manderstoke, Captain Jerry Jackson, Michael Joyce, Stephen Deremiad, Humbert Humbert, and all the other brilliant performances of this monumental actor? Report abuse
