You Know You're Addicted to True Blood When ...

The hallowed day is near, Truebies! The season 4 premiere of HBO's True Blood is this Sunday, June 26 9PM ET. If you are unfamiliar, then you must be living under a rock, because this is one sensational, mega popular TV series. Just why is that? Well, for starters, it has action, drama, suspense, thrills, romance, vampires, and other supernatural beings. Add to that the liberties that an HBO show can take, and the writing & directing prowess of the genius that is Alan Ball (of American Beauty and Six Feet Under fame), and you've got yourself a recipe for success. True Blood is well-written, well cast, and funny. It's also addicting. So, how do you know you're addicted to True Blood? Here are seven signs:
1. The ever-popular phrase "Oh my god" does not exist in your vocabulary anymore – it has been replaced by "Oh my Godric"! OMG!
2.You have also added a "G" to every word that begins with "fan-"… "fangtastic", "fangtabulous", "fangfiction", you get the idea.
3. You cannot help but flash back to True Blood or any of its many vampires anytime the word "sucks" comes up in conversation.
4. You have absolutely no qualms admitting that you've watched some pretty obscure and/or older movies featuring members of the vamp series cast, all in the name of True Blood love (how cute was Anna Paquin in Fly Away Home?).
5. You can recite dozens of favorite quotes, which will forever be ingrained in your memory, including the following: "Ring ring, hookah. Ring ring.", and "Blah blah, vampire emergency, blah".
6.The general public may not know a thing about Facing the Atlantic, Tony the Truck Stop Tiger, Choroideremia, or Hammarby, but you know exactly what they are and which actor is their champion.
7.You don't even bat an eyelash at the terms "fangbanger" or "furbanger". In fact, you proudly claim to be one or the other. Sometimes even both. Amen, hookah. Amen.
