Hello and welcome to June! Here at LocateTV we’ll show you all that June 2010 has to offer. June is positively bursting with new series to entertain you. First off, here’s a few of the month’s upcoming highlights.

Big Brother! The last and final series of the infamous show begins this month. Season 11 launches on Wednesday 9th at 9pm on Channel 4. Personally, I’m thrilled to hear of its end and just love the advert where the diary room chair is buried at a BB funeral. To most though, the ever popular and entertaining show will be watched by millions this year and many will be sad to see it go. Bye bye birdie noises, Davina and that Geordie voiceover courtesy of Marcus Bentley!

Also returning to our screens this month is Soccer Aid. It’s that time of year when celebrities and pro-footballers team up for an England v The Rest of the World football match in order to raise some cash for Unicef. Hosted by Dermot O’Leary, the tackling begins on the 6th!

Out on the big screen this month is 4.3.2.1. Available from the 2nd, this film involves 4 girls, 3 days, 2 cities and 1 chance. When a group of girls encounter some diamond thieves, they begin an adventure they’ll never forget… if they survive, that is! The film stars director Noel Clarke as well as familiar faces Michelle Ryan and rapper Eve!

BBC3 will be showing three brand new drama pilots this month in the form of Stanley Park, Dappers and Pulse. Stanley Park is a comedy drama about a group of young friends in South London. Dappers is another comedy; it revolves around the lives of two single mothers who live in a council flat. And finally, Pulse. It’s a medical drama that shows the very normal life of trainee doctors and the underlying world of horrifying medical experiments.

In sports, the World Cup begins! LocateTV have made a World Cup Schedule for the England team and a fun facts infographic.

Enjoy!
