Over the years famous celebrities have graced our television screens in classic cameo appearances, after they have become worldwide superstars. LocateTV has collated the most memorable and funniest Top 5 Cameos from TV...
5. Lady Gaga – Gossip Girl Season 3 Episode 10 - The Last Days of Disco Stick
Adapted from the books by Cecily von Ziegesar, Gossip Girl is set in the heart of Manhattan, following the lives of Blair and Serena. So when Blair’s life isn’t going to plan, she calls in Lady Gaga for a one-off performance. The pokerface songstress did a bizarre dance routine on some ladders to Bad Romance, taken from the album The Fame Monster. Definitely worth a watch. Other cameos include swimsuit model and chat show star Tyra Banks, and supergirl of many talents, Hilary Duff.
4. Britney Spears – Will & Grace Season 8 Episode 18 – Buy Buy Baby
Oops! Will and Grace did it again. I have lost count how many guest stars this sitcom has had, but Britney Spears starring as a lesbian TV show host for the Christian Television Network, was the strangest. The appearance aired the same year that Brit announced she was pregnant with her second child and that she was divorcing Kevin Federline.
3. George Takei – Scrubs Season 3 Episode 22 - My Best Friend's Wedding
A classic episode featuring Turk and Carla’s wedding. Turk wanted a priest who looked like Hikaru Sulu from Star Trek, and who did he get? George Takei! What a coincidence, huh? The marriage didn’t go quite according to plan though. George has featured in other TV shows such as Will & Grace, Heroes, and The Simpsons.
2. Paul McCartney – The Simpsons Season 7 Episode 5 - Lisa the Vegetarian
Many years ago, before Heather Mills, Sir Paul was once married to vegetarian and animal activist Linda McCartney. Together they appeared in The Simpsons, coincidentally when Lisa decides to become a vegetarian herself after a day at the zoo. There is a mention of a veggie recipe though. According to the Beatle, his 1970 song, Maybe I'm Amazed, actually tells you how to make lentil soup!
1. Brad Pitt - Friends Season 8 Episode 9 - The One with the Rumor
Brad Pitt, best known for his role in movies such as Troy, Ocean’s Eleven and Thelma & Louise, wins the top spot for his appearance in Friends alongside his then wife Jennifer Aniston back in 2001. Brad played an old high-school friend of Ross who together were the founding members of the I-hate-Rachel-Green-Club. Sadly Brad Pitt isn’t shirtless or almost naked like when he played Achilles but he still looks hot.
What do you think of our Top 5? Are we missing anyone?
