BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- Indignation bordering on hostility used to be a fairly regular occurrence on this merry-go-round otherwise known as the Television Critics Association "press tour." Once upon a time, in the 1980s, NBC even canceled its entire day over what it termed a "civility issue." But interview sessions are now mostly case studies in vanilla decorum. The CW hopes to be stellar with Gellar in new fall lineup
Last to announce its new fall lineup, The CW did a little headline-grabbing Thursday by bringing Sarah Michelle Gellar back to prime-time series TV after an eight-season absence. The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star is slated to play identical twin sisters on the run in Ringer, one of three new dramas featuring young women amid odd circumstances. A fourth CW series will give Extra host Mario Lopez a chance to further branch out as the face of an unscripted hour in which celebrities face off against their "haters." Gossip Girl Season 3 Finale

What is it with CW shows this week? Four of the network's series have had a season finale these past few days with another still to come tonight. Last night was the season finale of one of my favourite series, Gossip Girl. The final episode of season 3, Last Tango Then Paris, ended with so many cliff hangers; I can’t wait until season 4 returns in September.
