New Fall Network Premieres 2010

As returning seasons begin to grace our screens once again, and exciting new shows start airing across the stations, LocateTV has taken a look at what original offerings the networks have to tempt us with.

No Ordinary Family

Michael Chiklis ('The Shield') stars in ABC's new science fiction drama that appears to be a mixture of Heroes, Misfits and a live-action version of Disney Pixar movie The Incredibles. When Jim Powell (Chiklis) arranges a trip to bring his family closer together, they find themselves with unexplainable super powers following a plane crash in the Amazon River. Also starring Julie Benz, Tate Donovan and Autumn Reeser, can No Ordinary Family last longer than one season on ABC? Here's hoping!

The Event

When his girlfriend mysteriously disappears, Sean Walker takes matters into his own hands to find her, and unwittingly uncovers a U.S. government conspiracy. NBC's mysterious thriller stars Jason Ritter as Sean with support provided by Blair Underwood as President Maritnez and Laura Innes as the strange character Sophia Maguire; the leader of a group of detainees at a secret detention center in Alaska.

Boardwalk Empire

With Steve Buscemi in the lead role and Martin Scorsese directing the pilot episode and executive producing the series, HBO's Boardwalk Empire has the key ingredients for an incredible story of the 1920s Prohibition Era in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Buscemi stars as Enoch "Nucky" Thompson, a character based on the real-life racketeer Enoch L. Johnson. On the dawn of Prohibition, "Nucky" revels in his role as the ruler of the political and gangster world. With a second season commissioned after ratings for the pilot episode alone, the series makes the great line-up for Autumn television that little bit edgier.

Raising Hope

When a one night stand results in a pregnancy, 23 year old Jimmy finds himself holding the baby, as the mother is a wanted felon. Charged with caring for baby Hope, Jimmy leans on his family for help and support in FOX's new sitcom created by Greg Garcia.
