Royal Variety Performance 2010

The 82nd Royal Variety Performance took place last week on December 9 and what a corker it was. Her Majesty the Queen wasn't in attendance this year. Instead her son the Prince of Wales and his wife the Duchess of Cornwall were present (whose car was attacked on the way to the show by student protesters).
This
year's show was held at the London Palladium, which has been the most frequently used venue for the annual event since 1930 - 36 occasions in fact. Michael McIntyre took over the hosting duties from fellow comedian Peter Kay.
This year's line-up consisted of John Bishop, the singing Chelsea Pensioners, Cheryl Cole, Micky Flanagan, Sarah Millican, N-Dubz, Kylie Monogue, Susan Boyle, Take That, Russell Watson, Daniel Whiston, Jack Whitehall, along with the casts of The Wizard of Oz and Les Miserables. And of course, not forgetting the fantastic Britain's Got Talent winners, Spelbound.
Last year at the 2009 Royal Variety Performance, Queen Elizabeth II was treated to a line-up consisting of Miley Cyrus (remember those hot pants?), Lady GaGa, Britain's Got Talent winners Diversity and Katherine Jenkins to name a few.
If you want to see all these acts perform for the Royal Family, tune in to BBC1 on Thursday 16 December.

I'm sure Kylie will be amazing!
I'm looking forward to the miming performance by Cheryl Cole
truly dreadful camera work. really poor focus, kept zooming and jumping about. ruined it.
