So, you've created your Shortlists Challenge entry; laid it straight with Groundbreaking Movies and put your heart on your sleeve with Celebs I'd Like To Date; but now it's time to get your game on!
Remember, it's the most creative shortlist and the shortlist with the most comments and thumbs up that wins! Well, I'm going to let you in on a little secret - here are my top 5 tips on how to create a winning shortlist:
1. Get creative
The trick is to provoke a reaction and get people to comment and thumb your list. Why not take a quirky angle or share your guilty pleasures - this is your list after all!
2. Comment on your choices
Justify! Inject your personality into your list and tell us why you think Patrick Stewart is the most striking man alive (ahem)! Jokes! You may have made some controversial choices, flaunt them!
3. Share your Shortlists
Be your own agent! Publish your list to Facebook and/or Twitter. The more comments you have, the more likely you are to win the one year pass for a local movie-theater. So why not share your lists with your loved ones, or even your enemies? The comments don’t have to be positive! You can share your shortlist when you create it or click the social buttons on the footer.
4. Bribe your friends!
Look, we're not gonna judge you if you pull out those puppy eyes and a 'p...p...p...please'! To be fair, if you’ve got your heart set on the grand prize, it's going to require more than luck! Rope in friends and family to get commenting and voting on your shortlists!
5. Don't put all your eggs in one basket!
The more lists you create, the better your chances of winning!
Check out the Leader Board on the Shortlists homepage to see where your lists stand. Oh, and one more thing, I know it's boring, but don't forget to check the Terms and Conditions to make sure your shortlist qualifies!
