Gossip Girl Season 3 Finale

What is it with CW shows this week? Four of the network's series have had a season finale these past few days with another still to come tonight.
Last night was the season finale of one of my favourite series, Gossip Girl. The final episode of season 3, Last Tango Then Paris, ended with so many cliff hangers; I can’t wait until season 4 returns in September. I’m keeping tight-lipped for all the UK fans out there (the finale airs tomorrow on ITV2) but I will drop a few plot spoilers of what happens. Little J loses her virginity to another main character, Chuck Bass makes a grand gesture, someone gets shot and Georgina returns with a bombshell to announce.
What news of the fourth season I hear you ask? It has been confirmed that Taylor Momsen who plays Jenny will be absent for some of the season, while she tours with The Pretty Reckless. Also Leighton Meester has let slip that filming will start in Paris – how exciting! Season 3 is due to be released on DVD in August this year. Think you know everything about Gossip Girl? One Tree Hill also had its season 7 finale last night. And it may be the last ever episode! CW hasn’t yet confirmed whether they will pick up the show for an 8th season. Bring Chad Michael Murray back I say!
Then tonight is the season 2 finale of 90210, which will see Annie (Shenae Grimes) confess her secret and Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) reach breaking point with her lies. Other season finales:
The Vampire Diaries ended its first season on May 13th. The season finale, Founder’s Day, is available to watch online. Season 2 will return later this year.
Smallville – the series has been renewed for a 10th season. Season 9 finished on May 14th with superman Clark Kent (Tom Welling) having a battle with Zod (Callum Blue). Missed it? Watch it online.
