Titanic 99th Anniversary

This week marks the anniversary of the Titanic's maiden voyage. She departed from Southampton docks on 12th April 1912 and devastatingly sank just 3 days later; the 15th April saw the 'unsinkable' enveloped by the Atlantic after an iceberg hit and she went down in a mere 2 hours, 40 minutes. And it's not just the ship that sunk, 'Titanic' (1997) the motion picture was knocked off the top spot as the highest grossing film of all time to the 3D wonders of 'Avatar'. The Shortlists Challenge is over! Thank you for all the entries. It certainly made life tough for the judging panel, with so many good submissions. The top prize that was up for grabs was a whole year's worth of movie theater tickets! The winning entry needed to have received the most thumbs up and comments. Cricket World Cup 2011 - The Final Countdown

So after weeks of thrills, spills and bellyaches, we now know the two finalists set to battle it out for the 2011 Cricket World Cup in Mumbai. We'll be able to tune in on Saturday morning to see India and Sri Lanka in a final hurrah, contesting Cricket's ultimate one day prize.
