Titanic 99th Anniversary

This week marks the anniversary of the Titanic's maiden voyage. She departed from Southampton docks on 12th April 1912 and devastatingly sank just 3 days later; the 15th April saw the 'unsinkable' enveloped by the Atlantic after an iceberg hit and she went down in a mere 2 hours, 40 minutes. And it's not just the ship that sunk, 'Titanic' (1997) the motion picture was knocked off the top spot as the highest grossing film of all time to the 3D wonders of 'Avatar'. Hello and welcome to June! Here at LocateTV we’ll show you all that June 2010 has to offer. June is positively bursting with new series to entertain you. Hello Locaters and welcome to June! This month is absolutely bursting with brand new entertainment in all sorts of shapes and sizes. First though, here’s a little run-down of some June favourites: In TV we’ll see The Good Guys shoot up our screens. The comedy drama previewed on May 19th and resumes on June 7th. May 31st 2010 is Memorial Day, followed by D-Day on June 6th. These days commemorate those men and women whose lives were taken whilst serving in the military. At LocateTV we honour the causalities, the fallen heroes and the Normandy Landing’s paratroopers.
