7 Baftas, 2 Emmys, 3 Golden Globes and 5 British Comedy Awards later, Ricky Gervais has a house full of awards, but who's counting..? He is. After all the hissy fits from 2011 Golden Globes with media suggesting the Hollywood faithful were actually offended. Ricky has been invited back for what's being called 'Ricky III'. This has not pleased the Hollywood Foreign Press Association who wrote: 'While many welcome Gervais' return, not everyone is happy with the decision because last year his blunt one-liners targeting big-name celebrities caused anger and resentment in some quarters.' The 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards Nominees and Winners 2011

The 2011 Emmy awards came to the Nokia Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles last night, hosted by Glee favorite and last year's Emmy winner Jane Lynch. Red carpets, extravagant dresses, flirting A-list celebs and Charlie Sheen were all part of this year's Primetime Emmy Awards. The ever impressive Modern Family stole the show and added another 5 Emmys to their growing collection of prestigious awards, whilst British television period-drama Downton Abbey picked up 4 awards placing the show into the Guinness Book of Records for the 'most critically acclaimed television show' of the year, becoming the first British show ever to win the award.
