I was reminded of Paul’s post from last week when I spotted this article from the Slice of SciFi blog announcing that Season Three of Doctor Who started on the SciFi Channel in the US on Friday.
What is particularly interesting, aside from the obvious fact that America will now get to make their own minds up about whether Freema Agyeman is a worthy new assisstant, are the comments around the screening. Hoser points out in his comment on the article that ‘the sad thing about TV shows is that they never schedule them to air at the same time in different countries’, and that he has already seen this season and many episodes of Stargate as well.
I hope that LocateTV will help fans chose exactly when and where they watch episodes. Rod at the Doctor Who blog warns Who lovers to ‘check your local listings as some areas of the country (such as the west) might see a re-broadcast of The Runaway Bride’. Our info will be as up-to-date as possible so you don’t get Julia when you want Freema.
